    GOD DAMN IT, COMPANIES.

We apologized for Bryan Adams and Celine Dion already. Stop taking it out on the geeks!

(We don't like either of those two anyways.)

    Sincerely,

Yes, I'm sure you thought it was a MBA. Even though the aricle you had to click on CLEARLY says it's an Acer Aspire S3.

    You absolutely OSUX loving douche.

You couldn't possibly see the image before the article unless you just happened to click on the Anandtech website, covered your eyes, and clicked randomly around the page in hopes of clicking on an article link. You would have had to click on the article that says "Acer Giving Away..." and then found this article, with the image of the S3.

I expect these kinds of comments on Engadget. Not on AT. So be a douche on some other site that tolerates and even promotes this kind of idiotic behavior.

I'm guessing you're an immature person that feels they have to bash something and then rationalize their juvenile actions. First, you place a comment on a non-Apple product and bash Windows when no where does it say that it comes with Windows. Second, you try to rationalize your juvenile comments claiming that it looked like an Airbook.

Even I had to click on the link that specifically said that it was an Acer laptop, hence not an Apple product but somehow that gave you the impression that it was an Apple product. Then you lay the blame on that it looks like an Apple product, damn, I guess you're one of those that blames others for your shortcomings or failures instead of accepting responsibility for your own actions.

Anandtech should institute some kind of abuse policy that removes access to post from individuals who are only here to act out their immature tendencies.

I hate when giveaways use facebook in any way, face or shape. Luckily my wife has a crackbook account so I'll just use hers. Reply

Most likely to promote their social networking. It's easy to advertise to people who have Liked your page. Reply

I'm kind of happy I don't live in the US anyway - so I don't have to worry about finding someone with a FB account :p Reply

I don't have a facebook account, though my daughter has one. Is there an age minimum? I don't think I'd want to create a facebook account just to enter a contest, but it'd be great if my daughter could win one since I promised to purchase a laptop for her for Xmas, would save me some $$. Reply

I don't see anywhere where it says whether or not you need to re-enter everyday, or if one entry carries you until the end of the year. It does say that you can re-enter no more than once per day. Reply
  • JarredWalton - Thursday, November 03, 2011 - link

I just went through the entry process, and it looks like you have to re-enter each day. The Acer wall has this comment, for example: "Did you enter to win an Acer Aspire S3 Ultrabook yesterday? Do it again today, and tomorrow and the day after until Dec. 31. Keep trying until you win." Reply
