Gaming Performance
The MSI P4N Diamond clearly offers a superior gaming platform when compared directly to the Gigabyte GA-8I955X Royal. The superior memory controller performance of the nForce4 SLI Intel Edition chipset accounts for part of this performance, but there is something definitely wrong with the Gigabyte board in the Doom3, AquaMark 3, and UT2004 benchmarks. In fact, the benchmarks in these areas improved after updating to BIOS F7. The Doom3 benchmark was run several times at varying resolutions with the same disappointing result. Hopefully, Gigabyte can correct this issue as other Intel 955x boards are competitively close to the nForce4 SLI Intel Edition equipped boards in these benchmarks.

Looks like it went up early.Good read though. At first I was like "Holy $#!+" when I saw the gaming benchmarks, but then they mentioned about the Gigabyte BIOS being effed up.

DRAM Voltage Auto, 1.80V to 2.3V in 0.1V incrementsuh.. but isnt ram like 2.5-2.8v?
