Super7 Video Accelerator Comparison - Part 1: High End Gaming Solutions (June 99)

The Matrox G400MAX takes advantage of the faster L2 cache with the K6-3 450 and jumps to the top of the 1600 x 1200 performance charts.  Unfortunately, an unstable OpenGL ICD kept it from completing benchmarks in 32-bit color at this resolution.

The standings seem to remain the same with the K6-3 450 as they did with the K6-2 475, however the K6-3 450, overall, is the faster processor, even for gaming in spite of the K6-2's higher clock rate.
