Here we have the Intel supplied Naturally Speaking benchmark, this time with both SSE and 3DNow! support which helps to explain the performance lead the K6-2/3 hold over the Intel Celeron.  The primary reason for the Celeron lagging behind is because of the Celeron's smaller L2 cache, a threat that doesn't plague the K6-III or the Pentium II/III. 

The results are pretty much the same as before, however the Pentium III takes a sharp lead as its SSE optimizations truly do come in handy in this application.  In spite of all that, the Athlon still packs a powerful punch and comes in second after the Pentium III.
