Last but certainly not least is the VisionTek Xtasy 6964. This card shares many features in common with the other VisionTek Titanium cards, including the same heatsinks, video-out chips, and design layout.
Core cooling was provided by a simple heatsink/fan unit. It seemed to perform fine in our temperature tests, as the card's temperature fell about mid range when measured. The memory RAMsinks are identical to the reference design heatsinks.
Like before, the VisionTek Xtasy 6964 gains a feature not present on the card one step below it. In this case the feature is DVI-out; a feature we found present on many of the GeForce3 Ti 500 cards we included in the roundup. The card still uses the aged Conexant Bt869 video-out encoder that was found on VisionTek's GeForce3 Ti 200 solution.
On the overclocking front the VisionTek Xtasy 6964 got up to 260/580MHz, a speed typical of what we saw in other GeForce3 Ti 500 cards.
