We are live at SC12 from Salt Lake City, Utah this morning and are preparing to answer your SSD, NAND and Intel SSD DC S3700 questions. In about two hours I'll be on a replica bridge set of the starship Enterprise from the original series, alongside Intel's Roger Peene, answering your questions live. Although its a replica of the original bridge, it is an officially sanctioned reproduction by Paramount.

We'll be talking about the S3700, SSDs in general, NAND architecture and even the future of solid state storage. It should be an awesome discussion.

Thanks to everyone who tuned in, we'll repost the video shortly!

Update: If you missed it, you can catch the webcast here.

It wouldn't do any good. Even if the Rogaine helped him grow hair, his powerful brain would simply burn it off again. Waste of money.

I was disappointed that the fork in the road, SSD one way and Flash Appliance the other wasn't addressed. Granted, AT likely can't afford a Sun 5100, but if Intel (and others) ignores the appliance threat...

I couldn't make the webcast. Any idea when the video will be posted?

Any transcriptions planned? Quicker to read than watch. :)

And too late, but as always I wonder about data retention. The dark secret that seems to be swept under the rug. Are early adopters going to wake up in a few years with their data corrupted or just gone?
