At the last minute Vinney's schedule cleared up so she was able to make it out to San Fran with me for IDF. So we're both here at Newark airport hoping our flight doesn't get canceled as we're currently in the middle of a little snowstorm. Our flight is supposed to depart in an hour...but I get the feeling that's not happening. Hopefully we can get out of here tonight, in which case we'll be in San Francisco late tonight/early tomorrow morning - given that IDF starts tomorrow morning, I'm seriously hoping.
Derek is flying out of NC, so he's fine and Johan is already there, so we'll at least have coverage up if things don't work out. We brought a bunch of 24 season 2 DVDs with us to keep us company in the airport should we have a longer than expected stay here in Newark :)

Man, I'm having my math midterm on Thursday. I signed up for a free pass, so I'm taking BART (I'm at Berkeley) to cross the bay and walk to Moscone. Hahaha, let's see how this goes. I loved IDF when it was in SJ because that was only like 10 min away from my house, and back then my parents could get me in with VIP pass too =Pdave graham - Tuesday, March 1, 2005 - link

Dave, you need to move to CA. Avoid the damn East. ;)gbc02 - Tuesday, March 1, 2005 - link
Aquila76You should come to Calgary, it has been 45 for the last week and will continue for the next week. Almost 0 snow on the ground and I am lovin' it.

Lol...hey aquila... :-) after being up all night plowing, i'm pretty sure that i hate snow too. granted the brief respite for me in working today is well worth the several hours it'll take to dig out my car...loldave

Dave, you can have all the snow you want just keep it outta my area! Seriously, my deck (~6 ft from ground level) is actually plowed in. I could go sledding right off my porch to my car. Makes taking the dog out pretty easy, though!Hope you make your flight Anand! Wish I was going to CA (or really anywhere with 0 snow).
