The cars demonstrates everything a GF2-core based card can achieve, but the performance is not groundbreaking. For $275.00 this card can be in your case, not too steep, and certainly not very cheap. It's still priced competitively against the competition. This card will cost you about $70 more than the "Pure" version of the V7700. We preferred NVIDIA's official Detonator 6.18 drivers over generic ASUS drivers, but the card performed well under both drivers. ASUS was dedicated enough to include their set of drivers which take advantage of the card. Loaded with latest and greatest. The card was designed for people who like features, while keeping the gaming side up. While the list of features is impressive, and there is always more to be added. You shouldn't have any problems finding this card, several online retailers already have a sufficient supply of the Deluxe's The software bundle is quite excellent, and has provided very nice features. We feel that ASUS still needs to work on some of the features, and allow more options for advanced users. A good example would be a control panel where the end user is able to specify such settings as; fan speed, automatic temperature monitor, and maybe even a voltage regulator.
