Prolink's PixelView GeForce3 Ti 200 seemed like it would be a good budget GeForce3 Ti 200 card, as it features little extras. The problem arose when we could not find the Prolink card for sale anywhere on the internet. As a result of this, it is hard to judge how good of a value the card is.
The GeForce3 Ti 200 core is cooled by a simple heatsink/fan combination. Sure, it may not look as pretty as other solutions, but the heatsink/fan unit bound to the core with thermal grease actually performed better than any other cooling solution in this roundup. The core temperature only rose to 116 degrees Fahrenheit after an extended Quake III Arena run. It is too bad that the cool core did not improve our overclocking success. On the core front the Prolink PixelView GeForce3 Ti 200 reached 215MHz, putting it on the rather low end of the overclocked core speeds. The lack of memory cooling did not seem to help either, as the card refused to go above 490MHz in the memory bus.
TV-out is again powered by the Conexant CX25871 video encoder which allows for 1024x768 TV-output.
