The ABIT Siluro GeForce3-Ti500 features one of the most aggressive appearance of all the cards we saw. It's black PCB matched with the silver oversized heatsink/fan solution gives the card a very unique look The heatsink/fan combination is bound to the core using thermal grease. This kept the core temperature to 136 Fahrenheit which was about middle of the pack when it came to temperatures. The cooling solution seemed to work well when overclocking, as the ABIT Siluro GeForce3-Ti500 was able to reach an overclocked speed of 260/590MHz. This level of overclocking placed the ABIT Siluro GeForce3-Ti500 in the upper tier as far as overclockability was concerned.
The ABIT Siluro GeForce3-Ti500 has TV-out functionality courtesy of a Conexant CX25871 chip. Our card also came outfitted with DVI powered by the standard Silicon Image TMDS mounted on the back of the PCB.
Unfortunately, we were unable to find an online site that was selling the ABIT Siluro GeForce3-Ti500. ABIT products usually have a good retail presence so it is most likely that the card has not yet hit shelves in large numbers. Until we know what the going retail price of the card is, it will be difficult to judge its value.
